MO-VoIP Net Control Script
Calling the Missouri Voice Over IP Net, Calling the Missouri Voice Over IP Net. This is say callsign in plain English , that is say callsign phonetically. My name is say your name and I am located near say your location. I will be the net control station for this session of the Missouri VOIP Net. This net meets in routine session every Monday evening at 8pm central time. This net will activate any time there is a need for wide-area communications that directly impacts the state of Missouri. This net will also accept bulletins and announcements that are of interest to the ham community throughout the state.

The purpose of this net is to supplement existing communication networks throughout the state of Missouri while pushing the hobby forward with the use of new technologies. All stations are welcome and encouraged to check in, regardless of affiliation or location.
We will begin by taking check ins from around the state in groups by Missouri ARES Districts. If you are not sure which Missouri ARES District you reside in, be patient as we will make an open call later on during the net.
As this is a linked system, please pause at least four (4) seconds between transmissions and pause for at least one (1) second before speaking to allow all connected systems to reset.
When checking in, please give your call sign, name, traffic, and a brief weather report from your location. We will take comments later on during the net.
First, let's take check-ins from Missouri ARES Districts A Alpha and B Bravo. Any stations in districts A or B, please call / say callsign.
Next, let's take check-ins from Missouri ARES District C Charlie - we'll break this into groups to help out.
First, let's start out with check-ins from the City of St. Louis - City of St. Louis stations only.
Next, let's take check-ins from St. Louis County - St. Louis County check-ins only.
Now, let's take check-ins from St. Charles County - St. Charles County check-ins only.
Let's take check-ins from Jefferson County at this time - Jeffersion County check-ins only.
Next let's take check-ins from Metro East Illinois counties - Metro East Illinois counties only.
Finally, let's take any and all remaining check-ins from district C Charlie - any and all stations in district C who have not yet been recognized wishing to check-in to the Missouri Voice over IP net, please call say callsign.
Now, let's take check-ins from Missouri ARES Districts D Delta and E Echo and. Any stations in districts D or E, please call / say callsign.
Next, let's take check-ins from Missouri ARES Districts F Foxtrot and G Golf. Any stations in districts F or G wishing to check into the Missouri Voice Over IP Net, please call / say callsign.
Next, let's take check-ins from Missouri ARES Districts H Hotel and I India. Any stations in districts H or I, please call / say callsign.
We’ll now take check-ins from everyone else on the net, regardless of location. All stations on the net wishing to check into the Missouri Voice Over IP Net, please call / say callsign.
Note: We should now have a list of everyone who is connected in one form or another. Go back to the top of the list and start taking comments from everyone. After the last check-in gives their comments, ask for any late comers, new comers, or re-checks. If there are some new stations, acknowledge them and get comments. Once there are no more, it is time to close up the net.
