2011 Missouri Communications Functional Exercise

Practice: Wednesday, 26 January 2011, 1300 Central Time

Exercise: Thursday, 27 Janurary 2011, 0800 Central Time

Premise: Large, disruptive earthquake in the bootheel of Missouri.  Communications have been compromised, and help is needed getting messages into and out of the effected area.

Players:

• SEMA
• MARS
• ARES
• others

Served Agency/Authority: SEMA (and their hired consultants) has absolute control and direction of this drill.  They are the served agency and what they say goes.

Frequencies:

Primary coordination will occur on the Missouri Emergency Services Net on 3.963 MHz (7.263 MHz backup).

MO-VoIP will function in a secondary/supplemental role. Stations are encouraged to monitor both networks.
